That eye tracking addon is a HUGE deal in terms of capability upgrade....If it can work natively for Meta Quest OS and PCVR APIs (OpenVR/OpenXR) for Dynamic foveated rendering and gaze-based apps compatibility. ~$660 for an eye tracked Q3 is the ultimate sweet spot for an all-around capable HMD. Lol, its crazy. PSVR2 has the capability for eye tracking, but wont use it for PCVR. Quest doesn't have the capability, but added it on for PCVR.

I'm really excited for the xreal beam pro for no other reason than it's spatial video camera. I really hope the videos and photos will be compatable with quest.

That third party eye tracking system is nice. I'll probably pick it up for prime day or Black Friday for 40-50% off. If it can communicate with my PC to have foveated rendering there, then you've got my money.

I got meta quest 3, no regrets for over 5 months now. I love it, but I wish more AAA games would be developed for it. Zenith for example is not bad, but is far from what I wanna get as an MMORPG, and so on. Some popular games like WoW, Diablo, Helldiver 2, Overlord (1 and 2), Star wars based games (not mods). This is what would make it great in my opinion. Life apps, and so on would make it even better.

2:43, good thing my launcher lets me rename apps and change their icons globally, so it's still the oculus app with the oculus logo on my phone. just like how my quest 2 still says oculus on the front and still has the oculus button left controller.

Eye tracking for foveated rendering. If enough people use it then there's hope for a larger adoption and better performance in vr is a godsend. Imagine a future where VR headsets have bigger FOVs. Eyetracking is mandatory. Hope this paves the way. Can't wait to try it out hopefully soon.
